Data-driven professional, enthusiastic about innovation, data science, and research. I love to work on projects that involve data analysis/visualization, market research, or hypotheses testing. I think that through technology, mathematics, and business/field knowledge is possible to extract insights, from raw data, to help organizations in the decisions making process and understand better their current and/or potential new customers. I am here to learn but also to contribute to the generation of successful data-driven marketing strategies.
I have gained business experience working at huge multinational companies such as Nutresa, Unilever, and Samsung. In these companies, I got the opportunity to enhance my creativity through the elaboration of interactive dashboards and visual reports and to interact with customers to get qualitative insights as well. The most important capabilities that I obtained in these companies were communication skills, learning to work with several business stakeholders, and a result-oriented mindset. Nowadays I am still improving these capabilities, working at Circana which is one of the biggest market research companies in the world.
I got my bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Universidad del Rosario and my master’s degree in Marketing Analytics at Tilburg University. Additionally, I have complemented my formal education with executive courses given by recognized institutions such as Harvard Business School or Imperial College London about several topics such as strategic innovation or machine learning; moreover, over the years I have been influenced, by books written by great management and business thinkers such as Clayton Christensen, Michael Porter, Renée Mauborgne, among others. This represents my desire to never stop learning in this crazy journey called life!
